At US Engine Valve, we are actively seeking Production Machine Operators and Maintenance Technicians who play a critical role in our machining operations. These roles involve operating automated machines and verifying part quality, as well as ensuring tool/material/maintenance changes occur at the required intervals.
Available Positions
MACHINE OPERATOR
PAY INFO: $20/hour – Additional $1.50/hour for 2nd & 3rd Shifts
OVERVIEW:
U.S. Engine Valve has openings for Machine Operators (a.k.a. Product Technicians) that are actively involved in our machining operations. These roles are for operating automated machines (i.e. NOT assembly) and verifying part quality, along with ensuring tool/material changes occur at required intervals.
USEV roles are not “button pushing” type positions. Training is a minimum of 6 weeks; more training is given if necessary. The roles are Monday-Friday, with mandatory weekend OT.
PRIMARY FUNCTION:
Sets up, operates and maintains production machinery to perform close tolerance operations of any of the following: shearing, friction welding, heat treating, grinding, turning, drilling, etc.
MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN
PAY INFO: $25-30/HR
OVERVIEW:
- Troubleshoots and repairs machine malfunctions. Performs preventive maintenance.
- Locates and repairs electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical problems.
- Completes projects as directed (machine moves, modifications, installations; material handling; remodeling work area, etc.)
- Assists in the training of other maintenance personnel and production associates.
- Ensures that job functions maintain or improve product quality.
- Performs Preventative Maintenance functions on equipment.
- Completes work orders satisfactorily and in a timely manner.
